The Bruderhof is an international communal movement of families and singles who seek to put into action Christ’s command to love God and neighbor.  The Bruderhof was founded in 1920 by Eberhard Arnold along with his wife Emmy and her sister Else von Hollander.

Like the first Christians described in Acts 2 and 4, we have been called to a way of life in which all are of one heart and soul, no one possesses anything, and everything is shared in common.

There are more than twenty Bruderhof community locations worldwide. About half of these are akin to a self-contained village of 100-300 people. Children attend daycare and elementary school on the grounds of the community, and adults work as assigned in community departments such as the laundry, kitchen, or school, or in one of the income-generating businesses. The community gathers daily for worship and common meals.

The Bruderhof Daily Dig is a collection of inspirational quotes that we have enjoyed reading.  Hopefully you find them thought provoking, and something you can put into action.
